This park houses green vervet monkeys, endangered red colobus monkeys, lots of birds and termites, and interesting flora. The park is somewhat controversial due to various entities continuing to clear/develop the forest park to make a conference center, which has diminished the monkeys’ water resources (new water resources for monkeys and visitors were donated by the Turkish government)
