Trælanípan, Vágar, Faroe Islands

Very bad weather but amazing views along the Trælanípan hiking trail. The cliff after which the trail is named is mostly perpendicular to the surface of the ocean and juts straight upwards about 150 meters. From a certain angle, the freshwater Lake Leitisvatn looks as if it’s floating above the ocean.
